Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Gloucester County Criminal History does not keep a local log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so a response can be prepared. Messages remain within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server operation records basic technical details when a page loads:
- Page-view times and the pages visited
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- Visit duration information
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files help measure which pages are used and where visits end. Analytics providers combine that traffic into reports. A browser can reject cookies, although blocking them may change how some parts of the site work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Gloucester County Criminal History does not compile, maintain, or sell a personal criminal-record database. It describes access through municipal police custodians, Gloucester County courts and corrections offices, the New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification, and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a dossier about another person. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Links to courts, the Sheriff's Office, New Jersey agencies, legal resources, and search providers lead away from this site. The destination's privacy terms apply once that link is opened. Check those terms before providing personal data.
Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on their systems.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be disclosed only to limited service categories:
