Gloucester County records are divided among municipal police departments, courts in Woodbury, corrections offices, and New Jersey agencies. We organize those official paths so readers can tell whether a request belongs with a local police custodian, the Judiciary, Salem County Jail, or the New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification.

Why We Built This Site

Finding the custodian is often harder than finding a form. Gloucester County has no local public jail roster, and its detainees enter Salem County Jail. Municipal courts keep local complaints, while Superior Court holds indictable cases. The New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification maintains statewide histories, and NJSP also manages the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. This site brings the verified offices, request routes, and limits into one reference.

Only the office that holds a record can issue an official copy. Gloucester County Criminal History can identify that office, but cannot provide the document.
